Description

An extension piece designed to extend the length of the multi point door locks with a 20mm face bar and drive bar serrations. The extension piece is 525m in length and can be cut down to suit: lowest crop size of 330mm. The extension piece has a zinc die cast receiver on the one end that links and secures into the serrated drive bars of the multi point lock, using the flag to cover and hide the exposed cropped face bar. On the opposite end of the extension piece drive bar are further serrations to allow for the multi point lock shootbolt to be added for additional security. The extension piece meets the requirements of BS EN 1670:2007 Grade 4 (240 hours) for Corrosion Resistance to provide the most robust finish and to ensure smooth and consistent performance over time the extension pieces are endurance tested to 50,000 cycles.
